Missing Hen Harrier, £10,000.00 reward

Lancashire Police and the RSPB are appealing for any information that could uncover the fate of three missing hen harriers which are rare upland birds of prey. The RSPB is also putting up a £10,000 reward for any information which leads to a conviction.”

Natural England releases statement about the three ‘missing’ male Hen Harriers:

“Natural England is very concerned to hear of the missing male hen harriers from Bowland in Lancashire. Given the perilous status of the species, this represents a major setback for this year’s breeding season. We will continue to offer our support to the police to find out what has happened to these birds.”

And no, that’s not the first paragraph – that’s the entire statement…the criminals will be shaking in their boots.
